To achieve simple linear movement, KineSys electric cylinders (HEZ) are ideal as they are simple to install and are maintenance-free. In an HEZ unit, the rotation of the unit's electric motor is converted into a linear movement using a screw drive. The actuating power, movement velocity and activation time can be varied by selecting different transmissions and drives. Just as with the variable speed drive, various drive designs can be selected, from simple to highly accurate positioning.
