History

2011

In July, Kraeft was acquired by HYDAC, making it the skills centre for steel construction in water technology and offshore hydraulics for the entire HYDAC Group.

2009

Once Kraeft GmbH Systemtechnik had added designers and shipbuilding specialists to its workforce, it moved to larger business premises and factory buildings in the offshore industrial estate in Riedemannstrasse.

2005

To utilise synergies with other companies, Kraeft GmbH Systemtechnik relocates to the Motorenwerke Bremerhaven AG industrial estate in Barkhausenstrasse 60 in Bremerhaven. The capacities and expertise of many of the companies located here can now be accessed easily.

2003

Kraeft GmbH Systemtechnik moves to new business premises in Rudloffstrasse 68 in Bremerhaven. Sophisticated systems are now developed, designed and manufactured on a site covering 3500 m².

2002

Kraeft GmbH Systemtechnik takes over the Bremen branch of HERION Systemtechnik GmbH. The company relocates to Bremerhaven.

1989

ZF Friedrichshafen withdraws from the company. The company changes its name to HERION Systemtechnik GmbH.

1976

A branch office is set up in Bremen, concentrating on marine engineering.

1975

HERION Stuttgart and ZF Friedrichshafen set up ZF HERION Systemtechnik as an engineering office working in press technology, handling technology und marine engineering.
